 | 10:29 pm Going to be posting these on ebay soon as well
They are going to start at $3.00 each but the Buy It Now will be $10 each. Again, I hate to give them up but I have got to clear out some things. :(
I may sit on these for a couple days. See what else I can sell because I really do hate to part with these now that I'm holding them again. :(

 | 05:11 pm Rolled my ankle/foot today. Thought it was okay. Now, though, it's swollen and hurts like a mofo.
Good thing I'm lounging on the couch the rest of the night watching NCIS (oh, abby!!!) and On Demand episodes of Californication (oh, Hank Moody! *muthafucka!*) Okay if you don't watch the show then I cannot even explain why that makes me happy. If this is the case then you should most def watch it.

 | 04:33 pm Empire Magazine has revealed its list of the "50 Greatest TV Shows" ever. Below is the list and here be the rules.
1. Bold the shows of which you've watched every episode. 2. Italic the shows of which you've seen at least one episode. 2a. Star the shows you consider "the best". 3. Post your answers.
( //check yourself// )
I guess these just aren't my shows, man.

 | 12:22 pm - I Used To Rule the World Put your music player on shuffle, and write down the first line of the first twenty songs. Post the poem that results. The first line of the twenty-first song is the title.
I Used To Rule the World
She's so big-hearted but not so remarkable I know that it is freezing, but I think we have to walk Get up, sick and sore I've had a bit too much tonight
Unafraid of the words Trying to remember where I went wrong What's your name I told them all
Asleep on the white tile lobby floor There's not much going on today Outside in the street All the excuses I made for being late
You were born inside of a raindrop There's blood in my mouth 'cause I've been biting my tongue all week If you go away as I know you will Take me out tonight
Cryptic words meander Up with the sunrise you'll be staring Out of my window I see such a sight So I'm waiting for this task to end

 | 08:19 pm - OH BAMA! I cannot even begin to express how fucking happy I am!
However, I'm a bit disappointed in CA and the 56.6% that voted to ban gay marriage. Still pretty pathetic guys, really.
But, yay! ETA:I'm going to cross my fingers and have a little faith that CA will come through yet.

 | 08:16 pm I had a nice three day weekend! Woot! I go back tomorrow at 9am then work three days total before I have another long weekend. I'm going to leave for Monterey Friday morning. A couple friends are getting married Saturday and I am the photographer! Yay! I'll be getting paid a little bit for it, too. Plus, now that I'm getting the ball rolling for my photography business, I'll be able to write off one hotel room night, meals, gas etc. It definitely pays to work in a tax office.
Today I shopped for cheap clothes at the Goodwill. There was a big 50% off sale for the holiday. I bought three shirts for me, two pairs of jeans and a pair of shorts for Jamie and spent $14.03. Now I'm relaxing with Jäger until I have to leave to pick up Jamie from work.

 | 09:38 am okay, mail friends! I need help on a pretty simple thing. So, I seem to have a memory like a sieve lately and cannot for the LIFE OF ME remember the website where you put your address and a bunch of info in and then you can randomly get another person to send mail to. I though it was "post..."something or other but damned if I can find it. I know I'm going to feel really dumb once I see what it is but I'm over looking for it. Please, help a girl out.
also, I've decided I want to go somewhere NEW and SNOWY for a mini vaca this winter. Any ideas? Any crash-worthy couches?

 | 07:49 pm - Films I'm positive that I could watch the film "P.S. I Love You" repeatedly for like two days. It's beautiful.
p.s. It also has the most amazing soundtrack. Which reminds me that Flogging Molly will be in Sacramento in October and I'm stoked beyond belief!

 | 10:09 am It's Friday which means I'm 100% alone, by myself, going solo at the ole office. Yup! I'm the only one that works Fridays but that's fine by me. There usually is no 'real' work to do, I'm merely here to answer questions, answer phones and be a body if someone comes by to pay a bill, etc. My bosses are cool with me bringing in my own stuff to work on. So, yes, it's Friday and I'm getting paid an hourly rate to sit and solder. You can't beat that with a stick. Plus, I got another raise that went into effect on my last paycheque so now I'm at $9ph. Not the best wage on the planet but there are, of course, still the perks I talked about before. You know, coffee, lunch ummmm getting paid to solder!! I'm working on new products for my shop. I also plan to do some late summer cleanout of my craft stuff. Over the years I've hoarded a bunch of things with the intentions of trying to art forms. Some of them stuck but most of them just GOT stuck in boxes. If you're looking for some new craft items/supplies be on the lookout in my etsy shop soon. Also if any of you are looking for something specific, just let me know and I'll see if I can accommodate the request.
In other news, I've been a busy little beaver (note to self:find the oregon shirt that says "proud to be the beaver state"...buy said shirt) as of late. The Yuba-Sutter Fair was last Wednesday through Sunday so I was busy photographing that. I have to photograph the sponsor signs with people around them, the pageants, livestock, exhibits, corndogs...you get the idea. It's not a high paying gig by any means but I get into the fair for free, usually get a bunch of free food and get some experience/exposure. Last year my photos made it onto the cover of the AT&T Yellow Pages! I'M ON THE PHONEBOOK! I AM SOMEBODY!!! (50 points for Gryffindor if you get that reference.)
Here are a few of the better photos (behind the cut of course!) ( Fair Brat Ahoy! )
You can see a few more on my flickr. I took well over 1500 photos. I have, by no mean, even begun to really truly edit them. It's gonna take a while.
Other than that, life has been fine. My car is still dead but Jamie has a motorcycle and a jeep so I've been driving the jeep. Her best friend is getting married on September 6th and I'm doing the photography so I'm gathering ideas for that as well. If you see any really awesome wedding pics, definitely show me, I need some ideas. I've only done one wedding in my life.
Well, back to the soldering gun. Have a nice weekend lovelies!
